He was predeceased by: his grandson Colin Larsen. He is survived by: his sisters, Christene Roberson (Jack) and Linda Wilder (Rick); and his children, Amber Spader (Shawn), Amanda Togisala (Faaleo), Amy Crane, Gary Crane Jr. and Michael Crane. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
