With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Crane of Sunset, Utah, born in Ogden, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Crane and Frances Crane; his son-in-law Trevor Martin; his niece Annie; and his son-in-law Cody Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Rachel Crane, Eric Crane (Stevie), Tana Richardson (Crane-Martin) and Steven Washecheck (Misty); and his siblings, Tony (Jolene), Danny, Kathleen and Tracy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
