He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Madsen and Lillie Madsen; and his half-siblings, Arnold Madsen, Arlene, Judy, Karen and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jackson Madsen; and his children, Molly Kirk (late Jake), Andrew Madsen (Emily), Rachel Orgill (Kirk), Jenny Adams (Samuel), Kathryn Dailey (Tyson) and Sara Harmon (Shawn). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
