She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Merrill and Vergie Blackburn Rasmussen; and her sister Clythella Trujillo. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Harvey; her sisters, Veon Harvey, LaWanna Goodrich, ReNae Schurz and Louise Bascom (Glen); and also Jay. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
