He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Finley and Mildred Zemanek Chapman; his brother Thomas C. Chapman; his great grandchild Matthew Roth; and his son-in-law Robert J. Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Julie of Stansbury Park; his daughters, Cindy Williams of Atlanta, Sharon Hougaard (Dave) of Honeyville, Lisa Whitmer (Rex) of Indianapolis, Heather Wilson (Dale) of Grantsville and Emily Brodrero (Justin) of Smithfield; and his sister Judy C. Hicks of Vicksburg. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Roy's desire was for donations go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Genealogical Department, LDS Memorial Donations.
