He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Koyle and Ralph Harmer; his siblings, Jim and Shirlene; and his children, Paul and Shirley Thomas (Tony).
He is survived by: his siblings, Bliss, Russell and Myrna; his former wife Karen Hutchings; his children, Scott Kay Harmer (Atsuko), Trent Kay Harmer, Kate Elliott (Bruce) and Jill Tullis (Ken); his wife June Holt Biggs; and his daughters, Terry Newton (Guy), Bonnie Thornton and Karen Johnson (Darrell). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and even some great-great grandchildren.
