He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lavon Carter and Margaret Richardson; and his son Randall Carter. He is survived by: his wife Jan Allred Carter; his children, Christian Carter of Springville and Maranda Keeler (Alex) of Manti; and his siblings, Ron Carter, Sandy Hinkel, Cheryl Taylor and Julie Ray. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
