He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Bird and Larell F. Thurman Bird; and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his significant other J. Howard Stoddard; his sisters, Diana Bird, Kathleen Bird and Pamela Bird Becker (Tim); his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Burgess, Rachel Webb, Nathan Bird, Vanessa Dixon, Emily Crawley, Matthew Bird, Josef Becker and Benjamin Becker; and also Merry Hildebrand Bird. He is also survived by many cousins, and grand nieces and nephews.
Because of social distancing and other complications during this time of the COVID–19 Pandemic, no memorial or graveside services are currently planned.
