He was predeceased by: his brothers, Raymond Felix and Glade Felix. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Argyle Felix; his children, Stacy Nance (David), Garth Felix (Cheryl), Brent Felix (Amy) and Daren Felix (Marya); his sister Geniel Larsen (Jan Felix); and his grandson Tyson Nance. He is also survived by grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
