He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, A. Roland Oldroyd and Faye Oldroyd; his wife Carole Bird Blanchard; his siblings, Karen Measom (Lee), Julie Huntington (Mack) and Rodney Oldroyd (Carole Oldroyd); and his nieces and nephews, D. Mark Blanchard, Bryan R. Blanchard, Brenda B. Colvin and Dan J. Blanchard. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
