She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Blackett and Mary Edna Knudsen Blackett; her husband Bert Giles; her siblings, Dean, Bud, Jim, Fern, Shirley and Carol; and her daughter-in-law Tena Giles.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Allred (Galen), Charles Bert Giles Jr. "Chuck", Debbie Curtis (Stan), Alton "Corey" Giles, Bart Earl Giles (Patti), Mary Hamilton (Robert) and Carrie Allsop (John); her brother John Blackett (Ann); and her sister-in-law Loretta Blackett. She is also survived by her children, 19 grandchildren, 38. 5 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
