He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andres Evalino Gurule and Augustina Ramona Atencio; his wife Lucy I Jiron; and his children, Spanish Fork Packing House, Vergo Meat, Safeway, Brenda Baze (Richard Herbert), Louis Gurule (Tiffany), Teresa Pooley (Trent) of Idaho and Craig Gurule. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
