He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Gifford; and his siblings, Larry and Amelia. He is survived by: his mother Thelda Snyder Gifford; his wife JoAnn; and his children, John (Cindy), Downna (Stacey), Taresa, Jarom (Michelle), Joshua (Breckan), Calleen, Cherri (Joe) and Joseph (Ashlyn). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
