He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvell Jackson and Neva Jackson; his wife Carolyn Gamett; his son-in-law Tracy Giles; his son Craig L Jackson; his grandson Darren Thomas Jackson; and his great grandchild Arthur Wayne.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Jackson (Cindy), Julie Giles, Scott Jackson (Cheryl), Sherrie Payne (Roy), Brad Jackson (Jody), Karolee Muniz (Paul) and Nicole Peters (Damien); and his siblings, JoAnn and Leon. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

He was a very generous person and especially liked to donate to children's hospitals.
