He is survived by: his uncle Ned Patten Hales; his spouses, Bonnie Jean Hughes and Ruby; his children, Layne Hales (Alaina), Jeff Hales (Stacy), Michelle Peterson (Kelly) and Amy Dodds (Wally); his siblings, Blaine, Blanche Adams (George) and Karen Gordon (Larry); and also Sabbath. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
