It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Dean Betts of Spanish Fork, Utah, born in Payson, Utah, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dean; his daughter Jacey Lucille Betts; and his grandson Alexander Dean Betts. He is survived by: his mother Betty Betts of Spanish Fork, Utah; his wife Michelle of Payson, Utah; his children, Joshua Dean Betts of Ogden, Justin Ralph Betts (Autumn) of Payson, Jentry Gordon Betts (Madison) of Payson and Haley Betts of Payson, Utah; his stepchildren, Savannah Hansen of Provo, Ryan Dean of Payson and Tyson Dean of Payson, Utah; his grandchildren, Dutton Jay Betts, Jackson Reid, Jeremiah, Avery and Sophie Kinsley; and his sisters, Anna Marie Hanson (Dave) of Spanish Fork, Shauna Woodhouse (Mike) of Payson and Lori Lewis (Scott) of Springville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home (587 S 100 W, Payson, UT 84651). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery (420 S 400 E, Spanish Fork, UT 84660).
