He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen B. Dickey and Ethel Nelson Dickey; his children, James Dickey, Donna Molyneux and Sharon Dickey; his siblings, Woodrow, Ralph, Leland, Benjamin, Cecil, Arnold, Allen "Mick" Dickey, Virginia Taylor, Genevieve Jacklin and Zola Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Mary Ruth Dickey, Jennifer Dickey, Stephanie Bishop and Brennan Dickey.
He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Gerry Dickey (Susie), Genola, Ben Dickey, Faydene Nottingham, Mary Jo Brinkerhoff (Ross), Glen Dickey, Joseph Dickey and Daniel Dickey; his sisters, Mary Lou Musselman and Marjorie Butler; and his pet Sabrina. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
