He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallie Hatfield and Ora Stepp; and his siblings, Lynch Hatfield, Morgan Hatfield, Dreama Lockridge and Cleo Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Phillip Hatfield (Hae Suk) of Lakeport, CA, Lynn Rahl (Steven) of Riverdale, UT and Kenneth Hatfield of South Ogden, UT.; and his sister Wanda Evans of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
