He was predeceased by : his parents, John Franklin and Ina Louise Spencer Abel; his wife Elaine; his son Stephen; his siblings, Ina Faye (Dennis) and Vertis; and his son-in-law Wayne.
He is survived by : his children, Kris Keys, Brad (Barbara), Jeff (Holly), David (Cj) and Jason (Linda); and his siblings, Don (JoAnne) and Jeryl (Glen). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
