He was predeceased by: his parents, Dilbert Riley Bennett and Claire Mildred Douglas; his siblings, Lloyd Bennett, Delbert Bennett, Farlene Talent, Mildred Waddell, Douglass Bennett, George Bennett, Ivaloo Reese, Norman Jay Bennett and Dilbert Bennett; his son Mitchell Bennett; and his grandson Ricky Burge.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bowen; his children, Susan Losee (Leonard), Kevin Bennett (Debbie) and Rodney Bennett (Judy); and his sister Lola Grower (Chuck). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
