It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Joanne Grasteit Woolsey (South Salt Lake, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Denise Joanne Grasteit departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Denise Joanne Grasteit. Though Denise Joanne Grasteit may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Clarence Grasteit and Bonnie Mae Dodge Grasteit; and her siblings, Dennis Grasteit, Duane Grasteit, Steven Grasteit, Lynda Crosby and Diane Hibler.
She is survived by: her boyfriend David Roestenburg; her sister-in-law Annette Grasteit; and her cousin Ray Hulse.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Rosewood Assisted Living (464 E 3700 S, South Salt Lake, UT 84115).
