She is survived by: her children, Dr. James Schouten (Ruth) and Patty Murphy (Michael); her grandchildren, Lucy, Katie, Anna, Lydia Schouten, Jackson, Kaitlyn, Austin and Carson Murphy; and her brother Jim Ekker (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
