He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys May Nate and C. Lee Dayley; his stepmother Lila Blanchard Dayley; his brother Doug Dayley; and his granddaughters, Hannah Barker Dayley and Sarah Fletcher Dayley.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Barker Dayley; his children, Cheryl Quackenbush (Gary), Lisa Newman (Mark) and Robert Dayley (Carrie); and his siblings, Melvin Dayley, Leland Dayley, Karen Glass and Darlene Scott. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
