It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Jolley Hales (South Jordan, Utah), who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Hales; his brother Greg; his stepmother Eve; his son-in-law Angelo Sr.; and his mother-in-law Shirley Smith.
He is survived by: his father Don Hales; his children, Jessica Heliin (Chris), Richard Hales (Ruth), Tina Marie Nguyen, Michael Nguyen, Isabella Marin (Colton), Daniel Hales (Matti) and Cameron Hales (Maddie); his grandchildren, Enrique, Anthony, Angelo Jr., Jocelyn, Michael Jayden and Liliana; his siblings, Shelli Densley (Kip), KaRynn Christensen (Bryan), Terri Hales, Michael Hales, Lisa Walters (Mike), Paul Hales (Jennie) and Camille Bergstrom (Craig); and his foster brother Darren Tafoya (Brenda). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
