He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Saunders and Cary Saunders; and his siblings, Gilbert Lloyd Saunders, Jack Saunders, LaDon Lyle and Karren Bassett.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cook Saunders (Bobbi); his daughters, Lisa Lake (Greg Lake) and Shelly Peters (Craig Peters); his siblings, Karma Waite, Darla Loveland, Steven Saunders and David Saunders; and his children, Holly Saunders McKell and Daniel Reed Saunders. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the River 6th Ward (11473 Chapel View Dr, South Jordan, UT 84095). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
