With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orlan Othell Nelson of South Jordan, Utah, born in Clarksville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelson and Edith Nelson (Quinn); and his brothers, Charles Eudell Nelson and Raymond Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his children, James Nelson (Barbara) of South Jordan, UT, David Nelson (Tricia) of Crawfordsville, IN and Janna Strickland (Craig) of Fulshear, TX; his grandchildren, Melissa Nelson of Danville, IL, Brandon Badger and Matthew Nelson of Springfield, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Tessa Strickland of Bountiful, UT and Terah Strickland of Farmington, UT; his great grandchild Bradleigh Nelson of Danville, IL; and his brother Gerald Nelson (Carol) of Rock Springs, WY.
