He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Holgate and Leona Holgate; his former wife Valeen Anderson; his siblings, Elva Zaragoza (Tom), JoAnne Walker (Ken), Gwen Funk (Howard) and Doug Holgate (Sheri); and his great grandchild Luna Crump.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Gretchen Haskell (Darin), Matt Holgate (Andrea) and Elizabeth Merritt (Bill); his stepchildren, Tammy Morley (Rich), Peter Browne, Lara Corbridge (Kirk), Camille Tucker, Mike Browne (Annette), Stephen Browne (Tiffany) and Christy Fox (Ken); and his siblings, Cleo Stevenson (Stanley), Nonalee Goodrich (Gary), Susan Johnson (Mike) and Brent Holgate (Connie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 42 step grandchildren, and 27 step great-grandchildren.
