He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Schow; his son Brian Short; and his siblings, Gary Short and Diane Hoyt. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Nageli Short; his children, Erin Nygard and Kevin Short; his brother Michael Short (Pauline); his grandchildren, Connor, Hailey and Finley; his mother-in-law Marylynne Nageli; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Nageli, Tamra Nageli, Marci Clark and Jeffrey Nageli (Stephanie).
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Country Park Stake Center (2447 W 11400 S, South Jordan, UT 84095).
