He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Marion Tischer; his wife Kathryn Abegglen; and his children, Daniel Karl Hauptfleisch (Dana) and MariAnn Madsen. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
