It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Ronald Ryan (South Jordan, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Eva McGuire. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Mikesell and Dayna Drake (Jim); his grandchildren, Brittany Mikesell, Danielle Mikesell, Codey Drake and Chase Drake; his great grandchildren, Makhala Mikesell, Tyson Mikesell and Raelynn Mikesell; and his cousin John Blomquist.

“It is with great sadness that I learn today that 'Uncle Ron' has passed. Even though he was my cousin - Ron was more like an uncle to me. He gave me my first real job at 14 - laying carpet with him and drinking coffee with the boys before heading out on the days work. I admired Ron's rowdy rebellious nature, my mother Gloria would often admonish Ron - with a sly smile. I will sincerely miss his Sunday calls to check up on me and my family. You will be sorely missed- Stray Cat, Lance Anderson”
