With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Nelson Petersen (South Jordan, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Merrill, Dorothy, Grant, Jean, Norma, Marian, Betsey and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; and his children, Dave Petersen (Kathy), Dawn Hill (Terry), Brent Petersen (Kim) and Craig Petersen (Cindy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Parkway 4th Ward (3407 W 9625 S, South Jordan, UT 84095). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
