She was predeceased by: her father Blaine Vernon Cahoon; her husband Stephen L Ames; her mother Mae Cahoon; her in-laws, Ralph and Erma Ames; her brothers, Daniel, George, Gene and Russell Cahoon; her siblings-in-law, Janice, Velma, Ronald and Terry Ames; and her grandson Dustin Llewellyn.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Ames (Kristy), Cindy Schmidt (Brad), Darin Ames (Michelle), Randy Ames (Cherlynn), Kimberly Fagergren (Brian), Richard Ames (Amanda) and Sandra Smith (Levi); her brother Burton Cahoon (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Julia Campbell (Rod) and Connie Ames. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
