He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Smith and Grace Smith; his former wife Arlayne Louise Hirschi; his sons, Todd Robert Smith and Darus Thomas Smith; his wife Aura Smith; his children, Curtis Smith and Shauna Beach; his stepsons, Jeff, Edwin and Jorge Jimenez; and his grandchildren, Candice Rogers, Jessica Kaylor, Joshua Smith, Savannah Linares, John Beach and Olivia Beach.
