She was predeceased by: her husband Wally Thorup (D. Wallace Thorup); her parents, Marion Lester and Lavon Thomson Baird; and her brother Steven Baird. She is survived by: her children, Ann, Reid (Eve) and John (Leslie); her sister-in-law Delpha Baird; and her friends, Peggy, Maria and Queue. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren.
