He was predeceased by: his parents, Ai Tran and Xuan Lam; and his brothers, Burt Vorasane and Binh Tran. He is survived by: his wife Tran Hua; his daughters, Linh (Toan), Van (Dave), Hien (Sammy) and Phuong (Tai); and his sisters, Le Tran, Mai Tran (Francisco Contreras) and Muoi Tran. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and other extended family.
