He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Woodruff Olsen and Virginia May Thatcher; and his siblings, Gloria and John. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Wells Dean; and his children, Amy Olsen (Eduardo), Laura Olsen (Clay), Rebecca Olsen, David Olsen (Nedra), Jennifer Tessin (Brad) and Anita DeGiulio (Nick). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
