She was predeceased by: her parents, Amritsaria Ram and Pritam Devi; and her siblings, Brothers, Nath Ram, Madan Lal, Yashpal, Inderdev, Sisters, Darshana Devi and Indira Devi.
She is survived by: her spouse Bishan Das Karwal; her children, Tarlok Verma (Kiran), Asha Rani Kanda (Kewal K. Kanda) and Raksha Devi (late Subhash Kanda); and her sister Jaspal Devi (Palo). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
