He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Orr Mlynar and Esther Miller of Virginia; his brother Donald Mlynar; and his stepchildren, Tamara Olsen and Richard Smith Jr. (Tara).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Mlynar; his children, Michelle Martinez, Jeri Love and Kandi Mlynar (Amy); his stepsons, Larry Neilson, Tony Neilson and Edward Neilson (Christy); and his adoptive daughter Janie Johnson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
