He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Paul Lyon and Gerald Groves. He is survived by: his parents, Jeffery Lyon and Gerilee Lyon of South Jordan; his siblings, Chelsea Christensen (Andrew), Cameron Lyon (Brittany), Shaylee Evans (Tyler), Austin Lyon (Kylee) and Brianna Lyon; his nieces and nephews, Saige, Wyatt, Lillian, Abigail, Henry, Sophie, Harper, Kaysin, Calum, Baker and Sloane; and his grandparents, Gayle Lyon and Joan Groves.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Jeff & Gerilee Lyon, for the Gavin Lyon Foundation, which is being created in honor of Gavin to provide support and care for those struggling with addiction.
