She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Ostler Groves; her parents, Ephraim Rex Allen and Eva McInelly; and her siblings, LaVon Allen (Patricia), Helen Luce, Ira Hanks Allen (Barbara), Keith Tad and Verna Rae Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Wallentine, Lyle Groves (Debbie) and Cherise Saxton (DeLynn). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
