He was predeceased by: his son Michael; and his siblings, Glen Dumas, Lynn Dumas, Dorothy Growcock, Jean Thompson and Carolee Luhrs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra DeFa (Tom), Paula Ataata (Okusi) and Teresa Phillips (Keith); his great grandchildren, Zack Ataata, Melanie Ataata, Chris Ataata, Sarah Ataata and Michael Ataata; and his siblings, Norma Dean Hawkinson (Larry) and Ben Dumas.
Doug passed away on August 25, 2018 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's disease.
