Avery and Glennie Drakeford Avery; her husband Bill Peterson; her daughters, Wendy Peterson Blackett, Nancy Peterson Florence (Casey), LouAnn Peterson Holtkamp (Ralf), Lissa Peterson Buchi and Kierstin Peterson Thomas (Dave); and her siblings, Lois Avery Peterson and Wayne Avery. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
