He is survived by: his wife Bjørg Eli Torp Sims; and his children, Brian (Susan), Teresa White (Paul), Michael (Michelle), Peter (Melanie), Debbie Lee (Darren), Kari Smith (Deron) and Jennifer Johnson (Matt). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
