She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Coop Sr. and Imelda Hardy Coop; her husband Merrill Hymas; and her siblings, Marilyn Nelson and Lawrence "Brud" Coop Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Rick (Marilyn), Laurie Lundberg (Scott), Robert (Kathy) and Scott (Alison); her sister Judy Carter; and her sister-in-law Gayle Coop Albright. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 72 great grandchildren.
