He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Nelson Smith Jr. and Florence Joyce Johnson Smith; his parent-in-law Kari Querida Malone; his children, Kimberly Leann, Karin Joyce Madison (Tyler), Daniel James (Greta Leydsman) and Alessa Kay (Akari); his grandchildren, Destiny, Arie, Genevieve, Vincent, Kennedy, Karma and Talon; and his siblings, David L. Smith (Colleen), Joyce Cook (Richard), Julie Bott (Russ), Joanne Fowler (Cleon C. J.) and Janalynn Smith.
