She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Dermont and Alice Steele Wright; her brothers, Ron and Barry; her husband George Alvin McBride; her son-in-law Daniel E. Shaw; her granddaughter Adrianne McBride; and her grandson-in-law Tyler C. Anderson.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marge Wright. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
