She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Hoyt and Irene Hoyt; her husband Karl Brooks; and her brother Jodie. She is survived by: her children, English, Spanish, Debate, Speech, Sharla Moody (Paul), Daren (Kelsey) and Barton (Gregg); her grandchildren, Melynne Vick (Ian), Kacen Moody, Rhett Moody, Rashae Williams (David) and Denver Riley; her great grandchildren, Addilyn, Kensley and Henry Vick; and her siblings, Shirlene Page and Herond Hoyt (Gaylen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
