With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Elg of South Jordan, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on June 22, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Hill Elg and Lorenzo Forsling Elg; his siblings, Harold, Frank, Stanley Elg, Helen Aardema and Grace Thompson; and his great grandchild Oliver Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sanderson Elg; his daughters, Kathryn Welling, Paula Brown (Rob), Janice Okelberry (Kerry) and Rolayne Linschoten (Clint); and his siblings-in-law, James R. Sanderson (Doris) and Kathryn Elg. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a family-only funeral service will be held.
