He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold James Butterfield and Evaline Belle Peterson; his in-laws, Ivan and Mary Jorgensen; and his brothers-in-law, Stan Warnick and Richard Jorgensen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Warnick and Mary Anne Butterfield; his wife Marianne; and his children, Derek (Jolyn), Jeanine Mecham (Travis), Pamela Gassman (John), Valerie Butterfield, Natalie Veach (Steve), Nathan (Cherie), Camille Millward (Ryan) and Tricia Martindale (Derek). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
