He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Rodney Smith and Iva Vilate Hancey; his son Shawn; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his son Mike; his wife Linda Schenk; his children, Brett (Krista) of Idaho Falls, Joni Black (Ulysses) of Smithfield and Melissa Corbett (Chad) of Grace; and his sister Geraldine Figg-Hoblyn (John) of Willits. He is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren, and three adorable great-grandchildren.
